To enhance campus rooftop safety management and reduce potential risks such as high-altitude falls, the University has installed surveillance cameras and access control alarm equipment on the rooftops of 13 buildings: the Administration Building, Research Building, General Building of Colleges, College of Commerce Building, Yi Xian Building, Computer Center, Information Building, Art & Culture Center, Bai Nian Building, Dao Fan Building, Ji Tao Building, International Building, and Research & Innovation-Incubation Center. These systems are connected to the Campus Control Center.
If entry to a building rooftop is required for official business, please contact the designated building maintenance staff to set access permissions (Staff ID or temporary card) in the University's access control system. The alarm must be disarmed before opening rooftop doors or windows to avoid accidentally triggering the alarm system.
When an alarm sounds, building maintenance staff, Security Unit, or security personnel must immediately inspect the site to check for emergency situations.
